Job Title

MTS Design and Verification Engineer

Role Summary

This role leads design and verification strategy for DRAM circuit development, ensuring functional correctness and silicon readiness for advanced memory products. The engineer will work with global teams to define verification plans, improve tools and flows, and provide technical leadership and mentorship.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Lead DRAM design and verification strategy, architecture decisions, and execution for advanced products.
  • Develop verification plans, drive coverage closure, and support silicon debugging.
  • Collaborate with global teams to define and implement design and verification best practices.
  • Evaluate and adopt tools, methodologies, and flows to improve design and verification efficiency and quality.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to stakeholders and senior leadership.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred technical skills and experience:

  • Must-have: Strong expertise in DRAM circuit design and/or verification methodologies.
  • Experience with simulation and verification tools such as HSPICE, Finesim, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
  • Deep understanding of CMOS fundamentals and semiconductor design principles.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with UVM and mixed-signal verification, advanced DRAM architectures (e.g., DDR5+), verification methodology development, and coverage strategies.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives across teams.
  • Programming skills (Python preferred) and experience applying AI-assisted tools to EDA automation and data analysis.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required. Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience is accepted.
