Manager, Design Enablement
Role Summary
Lead and execute PDK design enablement projects for silicon photonics, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver timely, production-ready PDK releases that meet customer and internal requirements. The role combines project management, semiconductor process integration knowledge, and hands-on photonics design/workflow support.
Experience Level
Senior β preferred 5+ years of relevant experience in silicon photonics, semiconductor process integration, or design enablement projects.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include managing PDK enablement projects and supporting silicon photonics R&D and production readiness.
- Lead PDK design enablement projects and coordinate timelines, deliverables, and cross-department dependencies.
- Manage photonic design layout compilation, DRC flows, and mask tape-outs to enable project starts and execution.
- Apply semiconductor process integration and silicon photonics expertise to resolve technical issues and guide development.
- Plan and execute multiple concurrent projects with clear priorities and milestones.
- Respond to technical inquiries and improve PDK workflows and efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments to troubleshoot and drive operational improvements.
- Mentor team members to improve productivity and help achieve departmental KPIs.
- Perform duties in accordance with Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.

Education Requirements
