Engineer, Test Engineering

Role Summary

Responsible for developing, optimizing and sustaining test equipment and test processes to meet operational quality and productivity goals at the Singapore site.

Performs test method development, equipment installation, product testing and failure analysis, and works with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive process improvements.

Experience Level

Entry-level — 1–2 years of test engineering experience, preferably in semiconductor wafer fabrication.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include establishing and maintaining test capability, analysing failures, and supporting supplier and process quality.

• Develop, optimize and sustain test equipment and processes to meet operations goals.
• Design and implement test methods, procedures and process controls to ensure product quality.
• Install and maintain sophisticated testing equipment and perform product testing and analysis.
• Analyze defect and test data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with suppliers on quality problems and support supplier quality improvement programs.
• Support Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and work safely.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and assignments as needed.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience.

• 1–2 years of test engineering experience; semiconductor wafer fabrication experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Able to perform under a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Education Requirements

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
