Digital IC Design Junior Engineer

Role Summary

Join Marvell's Coherent DSP business unit to design, simulate, implement, and validate high-performance DSP ASICs for hyperscale and telecom networks. The role sits within a hardware design team focused on RTL, firmware, and verification for high-speed communication chips.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on RTL development, prototyping IP blocks, and verification to ensure functional correctness and performance of silicon products.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include design, verification, and maintenance of RTL and related firmware/tooling.

  • Analyze product specifications and architectural requirements to plan design and verification for high-speed communication chips.
  • Design and develop RTL modules using Verilog/SystemVerilog; integrate with C/C++, Python, and Linux-based tooling and firmware.
  • Prototype IP blocks to assess feasibility and de-risk future product development.
  • Maintain and enhance silicon-proven RTL and firmware to ensure functional correctness and performance.
  • Develop and execute verification strategies including unit, integration, and regression testing using Python-based frameworks.

Requirements
