Design Verification Engineer

Role Summary

Design Verification Engineer responsible for verifying digital and analog circuit designs used in memory products. Works with cross-functional teams including verification, layout, test, process integration, and product engineering to ensure design quality and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include validating and supporting circuit designs through simulation, layout oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Perform circuit verification using modeling and industry-standard simulation tools.
  • Support circuit design, layout, and optimization across memory, logic, and analog domains.
  • Assist with parasitic modeling, design validation, reticle experiments, and tape-out revisions.
  • Oversee layout activities including floor-planning, placement, and routing.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, test, and systems teams to support product success and manufacturability.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience followed by preferred qualifications.

  • Must-have: Familiarity with digital and/or analog circuit design concepts.
  • Experience with circuit simulation and modeling tools.
  • Understanding of semiconductor fundamentals and fabrication processes.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and experience working in collaborative teams.
  • Nice-to-have: Exposure to memory design (DRAM, NAND, SRAM) or high-speed circuit design.
  • Experience with layout tools and physical design methodologies.
  • Knowledge of scripting or programming (for example, Python, TCL) and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with global, multi-functional teams.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience is acceptable where indicated.
