Role Summary

Work on Micron's EDA and Design Enablement team to build, improve, and support in-house and commercial EDA tools and flows that enable CMOS design and verification at scale. Partner with design, layout, and process teams to keep the design ecosystem efficient and reliable.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Develop and enhance EDA tools, flows, and methodologies for CMOS design and verification.
• Debug, evaluate, and support in-house and commercial EDA solutions in production environments.
• Collaborate with design, layout, and process teams to resolve workflow and tool challenges.
• Document processes and provide training and support for end users.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Strong programming fundamentals and demonstrated problem-solving ability.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in an engineering environment.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments and with shell scripting.

Nice-to-have:

• CAD and physical verification rule deck (DRC/LVS) development experience.
• Background in VLSI, IC design, or CAD tools for schematic, layout, simulation, or verification.
• Understanding of CMOS implementation tradeoffs (area, speed, power).
• Experience with Cadence and Calibre EDA tools.
• Prior work supporting or developing EDA design flows.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
