Develop and maintain internal CAD tools and flows for electrical circuit checks and other verification tasks used by global design and verification teams. Collaborate with CAD members, designers, verification engineers, and EDA vendors to deliver, integrate, and support automated flows in the chip design environment.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include developing automation and supporting global teams:

• Design and implement internal tools and flows for electrical checks (crosstalk, fan-out, capacitive loading, electromigration, etc.).
• Collaborate with global CAD, design, and verification teams to define requirements and release flows globally.
• Support design and verification teams via training, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Propose and implement solutions to improve verification quality and efficiency based on user feedback.
• Work with external EDA vendors to integrate tools, drive feature development, and resolve tool issues.
• Leverage agentic AI to assist in flow development or embed AI agents within flows.

Requirements

• Must-have: Experience with chip design environments and using schematic and layout design tools.
• Must-have: Programming experience in Python and Cadence SKILL.
• Must-have: Basic knowledge of semiconductor process technology.
• Must-have: Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to support global teams.
• Preferred: Experience with agentic AI to assist development or implement AI agents in flows.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Perl and C/C++.
• Other: Willingness to learn listed technologies if experience is limited.
