Responsibilities
Accountable for technical leadership, program delivery, and team development in physical design.
- Lead end-to-end physical implementation of test chips and customer designs across advanced nodes (2nmβ7nm).
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of ASIC physical design engineers; set technical direction and engineering standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution with front-end design, verification, and product engineering from RTL to GDSII.
- Plan projects, allocate resources, manage budgets, and track schedules to meet customer and organizational objectives.
- Interface with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements, report status, and ensure delivery quality.
- Optimize design flows and sign-off processes using Synopsys EDA tools to achieve target PPA and timing closure.
- Drive continuous improvement in methodologies, static timing analysis (STA), and sign-off practices.
