Analog Modeling & Testing Engineer Intern

Role Summary

Intern position on Marvell’s Central Engineering Team in Córdoba, Argentina supporting analog/mixed-signal IP development. The role assists IC design activities across design, layout, silicon evaluation and characterization, and verification flows.

Experience Level

Entry-level / Internship. Targeted at students in the final year of an engineering degree or candidates enrolled in Master/PhD programs; suitable for early-career applicants with academic experience in analog/mixed-signal design.

Responsibilities

Work with the design team to develop and validate analog IP; receive training and contribute to verification and testing flows.

• Participate in joint design activities and attend advanced analog training.
• Model analog circuits in SystemVerilog and compare SV simulations with SPICE simulations.
• Test analog circuits using Python scripts and firmware; assist in silicon evaluation and characterization.
• Run co-simulations between digital and analog designs.
• Develop and improve flows that support analog IC design and verification.

Requirements

Key skills and abilities expected from candidates (education specifics are listed separately under Education Requirements).

• Must-have: Intuitive and analytical understanding of transistor-level and CMOS circuit design.
• Must-have: Experience with Verilog and SPICE simulations.
• Must-have: Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to meet project schedules.
• Preferred / Nice-to-have: Experience writing behavioral models for analog and digital circuits and familiarity with SystemVerilog modeling.
• Preferred / Nice-to-have: Experience with Python-based test scripts and basic firmware interaction for device testing.

Education Requirements

Students must be in the final year of a 5 or 5.5-year engineering degree program at UTN-FRC, UTN-VM, UNC, IUA, or be enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Electrical Engineering at any university in Argentina.
