Analog Mixed-Signal Design Intern

Role Summary

Work on analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit (IC) design within Infineon's design team, focusing on amplifier, low-power, and power-management circuits. The internship involves simulation, verification, silicon characterization, and scripting to support design workflows.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to design, simulation, and verification of analog and mixed-signal ICs.
  • Design and analyze operational amplifiers; perform stability analysis and implement compensation techniques.
  • Design low-power circuits such as LDOs and buck converters to optimize energy efficiency.
  • Perform silicon characterization, lab measurements, and debugging to verify performance against specifications.
  • Develop and apply scripts for automation and data analysis using Python, Perl, TCL, or Shell.
  • Participate in design reviews and collaborate with the team on project goals.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes:

  • Proficiency in analog IC design, operational amplifier theory, and low-power design principles.
  • Experience with circuit simulation and verification tools (specific EDA tools not specified).
  • Ability to script in Python, Perl, TCL, or Shell for workflow automation and data analysis.
